All of the mothers are asking their children to do something in order for them to keep their money. The children will simply not do it. Even if it means getting their phones and allowance taken away.

Cady's mom makes her tell her granddad that she loves their summer house and wants to raise her own children there so that they can keep that house. Gat tells Cady that her aunt Carrie didn't marry Ed because she doesn't want to ruin her inheritance.

Mirren won't tell Cady what happens to her before and after the accident because the doctors said she would remember on her own. Cady think that she was a victim of rape or something like that.

Cady's migraines have been worse lately and she doesn't go out much. Gat goes to her room and they lay together and he finally tells he is sorry for what he did during summer fifteen. But because she is "high" she doesn't understand must of it.

Every so often Cady remembers a memory from summer fifteen. She tries to ask Mirren, her cousin why gat disappeared after her accident but she says she doesn't know. I think Cady will soon find out when she remembers more of that summer.

Cadence has a fight with Gat. He says her grandpa thinks badly about him because he is poor. A few days later Gat asks cadence to start over again.. But she doesn't want to because they can't do this every time they argue.

Cadence asks her friends why they never replied to her emails. They don't have a good enough answer. She asks Gat why he never called her. He says he's sorry and they decide to start over.

Candace suffered a Brian injury at the beach. She missed summer seventeen because she gets headaches and is sick. Instead she went to Europe with her dad but didn't enjoy it because she spent half the time on the bathroom floor.

Cadence is upset because the boy she loves, Gat, now has a girlfriend. They both continue to talk to each other normally. Gat made it look like he loved her, yet when they come back to the island for summer he has a girlfriend? This confuses me.
