I hate it when authors use a random word from a foreign language in an english sentence where it makes NO sense whatsoever to use that specific word, just because they want to stress that they informed themselves about the foreign language their characters supposedly speak. DON'T DO THAT, IT SOUNDS RIDICULOUS AF

Um, no, that's not what that means, that's not even a german sentence.
If you do include german - or any other foreign language for that matter - in your english novels, it's best not to make it so obvious you used google translate.
