These stories are very good and unique.

This book is a gem. A dream find for a lover of magical old books.

“Wood-Magic” is a beautiful story with a surprising ending.

The second story, “The Mill,” follows a young man who, after meeting Sir Lancelot, desires to win fame as a knight. He is instructed that when he finds the Blue Flower, he can end his adventures. What he finds in his quest is not exactly what he expected.

This short adventure is sweet and happy, and told convincingly in a style like that of Sir Thomas Malory.

The first story in this thematic collection left me with melancholy longing. Which is basically what I expect from a story rooted in the European Romantic movement.
