Wow. How does chapter 45 tell so much while consisting of merely a single paragraph of text? Sanderson is a genius.

Once this book got going it took off and hasn't stopped.

The introductions of the characters is handled so well, much better than I remember in Elantris. I'm so glad I picked up this book despite it's silly-looking cover.

This magic system seems really interesting. I'm already excited for where this story is going.
