I would much rather be reading a book that gives Lavinia, toungeless and valueless, a voice rather than Juliet who speaks the entire play. Most of these "feminist takes" are rather trite and base-level. If you want to give voice to the voiceless, then choose Lavinia, choose Desdemona.
