Status Updates From Enter the Body

Ugh… Hamlet is such a dick!! Just listened to the first part of Juliet’s story and am at the part where Ophelia is wondering wtf is going on with Hamlet, spirals into sadness and self doubt and then finds out her dad was killed. On to the next story—Cordelia is going to tell her story. Lavinia is a side character and as disturbing as Titus Andronicus is, so glad I’m familiar with all of these plays!

I’m not digging it. I was intrigued at the start as the women were discarded into the trap room, but the tales they’re telling—elaborations on their fates under Shakespeare’s quill—is not compelling. DNF
