Only 4% in and we've already been introduced to 3 different groups of people (races? species? clans? I'm seriously not sure) one of which has spinerettes on their hands, another has a venomous bite, but they have breasts with nipples so they are mammalian in nature? Agh! I'm so confused lol.

This book. This book. Gah! Not only can I not figure out what in the heck these people are I am now starting to doubt this "plot" as well. It seems she's trying to create a conflict where there is none. Both courses of action accomplish the same exact thing! Rrrr.

I know some readers hate "info dumping" but sometimes you just need more information. It's really bugging me that I have no clear picture as to who/what we're dealing with. There's been weird tidbits but nothing substantial. The book itself is not bad necessarily, but the jury is still out on this one...
