The book goes into more problems with the county, however, sending a woman to jail for an unjustifiable reason is bad. Unfortunately, I could not finish the book, but I enjoyed it for a casual reading.

The problems worsened for the town as the weather was acting up. As they were recovering, the governor of the county was going to make changes and the library that they had is slowly getting back up.

So far, the book declines into marriage problems and problems that they are running into with the books provided.

From the letter, the mines have impacted everyone in the town and the law is affecting the colored population

From where I left off, it got very deep into what the setting was and what problems had occurred for the librarians. It also got into a very tiny bit of sexual activity, but it was for maybe 2-3 paragraphs.

From the chapters, I can see that it's a very small town and now very many people. however, it does have a setting of a somewhat modern town and it revolves around the lady wanting to open a library.

So far, this book is a bit confusing for me, however, as the story went on it got clearer. I was able to understand most of it.
