Oh lord, “you’re so masculine” “people don’t believe me because I’m so straight passing” cry me a river. I don’t expect the author to know this but this is a masc for masc trope in the gay community that is really toxic, that “masc” gays say to really tell people I’m so masculine. This is not a real problem compared to queer folks who cant blend in with other cis folks.
