So far, so good! I like the two main characters, both original. The universe is interesting and I am engaged. I read enough sci-fi and fantasy to know the regurgitated material and this isn't that. It's genuinely creative! My progress has been slow, though, because the many characters are introduced in quick succession. I've had re-read in a few places. Is Goddard cooling? You think you know, but is it a trick?
