I have an ebook copy of this book and I think I'm going to switch to ebook version. The narrator's attempt at doing female voices for the audiobook is so horrible that I can't listen anymore. I cringe everytime a female character has any dialogue!

Ok, this is not about the book but about the audiobook- the narrator CANNOT d0 women's voices. THANK THE BOOK GODDESSES.. this is mainly all men in the book. The narrator's "female" voice is some of the worst I've ever heard. I almost spit Diet Mountain Dew at my computer screen laughing!

Catherine Male narrator? I hate when men/women do such freaky voices when reading people of the opposite sex. It really turns me off.

This guys attempt at a female's voice is by far the worst ever.

Sans Sounds like the guy that narrated the BDB audiobooks. *shudders* He was like a cross between William Shatner and Stephen Colbert.

Richard Armitage actually does an incredibly good job on the female voices for the Georgette Heyer books he narrates.

I cannot even imagine what that would sound like. LOL.

Sans I had to turn it off when he tried to do Marissa's voice. He couldn't decide if she was French, Russian, Armenian or Spanish. It was a crap shoot on which he'd use in any given sentence.

It was Colbert's uber-correct enunciation and projection combined with Shatner's timing issues and emphasis on the wrong word half the time. It was wild.

Michelle, the Bookshelf Stalker The narrator is a guy named Sawyer Allerde. He's a great narrator as long as all the characters are male!
