So far will has been watching a demonstration of the Toscana military. While Alyss is trying to help the Arridii work out a trade agreement with Toscana. Horace was in Nihon-Ja studying their way of fighting so he can become a battlemaster in Araluen. Horace has befriend the emperor who explained his plan to help the lower class people have more of a say in the government
