I was going to stop reading this due to various reasons but I didn't feel like starting another audiobook. So far, it is okay but there is alot annoying me. 1) Bryn's constant comparison to the military, Iraq, her life as a soldier. Enough is enough. 2) I feel like I'm not into the story, or there is no story yet. It's pretty slow. BUT, I'm continuing because I have faith in my GR friends!

Maybe it wouldn't feel like it was taking so long to get into if you were reading it instead of listening to it? Even fun books sometimes feel slow when you're just listening to it.

I think alot of it has to do with the entire "death" industry. I've had two sudden deaths in my life in the past month and listening about embalming, funerals, etc., is not helping. :(
Ah, yeah... Probably not the best subject right now. Sorry to hear about the deaths in your family. :/

It could just not be your style too. I guess we'll see sometime down the road. :)

I'm reading Another Kind of Dead & I'm disliking Evy, the main character, even though I really liked her in book 1 & 2. I don't think Evy changed, I think my tolerance has changed. I'm not sure what I like until I try though so I'm gonna keep trying!
