I've always been grateful for school for getting me to read and do things that I never would have read or done otherwise. I say class reading.
School, eh. Let's make this a little more interesting. The two books in question are The Trench and Creole Folktales. Now, which is for school, and which is for fun?
Is Creole Folktales for school?On an unrelated note, I just picked up "The Lake" by Yoshimoto, due largely to your exquisite review of it. (And I'm sure it'll do a great job of distracting me from my dissertation. :))
