This thing just strikes me as a funny background joke in a Simpsons episode. I can't imagine getting 300+ pages out of it!

It's Pride and Prejudice verbatim, with the zombie scenes edited in. That's where the page count comes from.
Let me put it another way -- I can't imagine getting *THREE* pages out of it.
Jesse just asked me if I wanted this for my birthday. I think he thought it was a joke until I explained it was for real :)
