It's weird! i actually read a previous status by you that was longer and mentioned the grooming, another friend of mine on here, that i really respect, mentioned the grooming in another novel before (i remember she said because the author is mormon and they have grooming in their holy book).
I am thinking why, why would anyone make the mc a cheater, since obviously the female audience treat them as a love interest for laughs? nobody likes a cheater, except the people who were party to the act.
and nobody likes grooming, it leaves a bad taste, that you were waiting for a person to become of age, i actually dumped a guy friend of mine because he pretty much said that it's okay.
it's as wrong as pedos, so why does some authors keep adding stuff like that?
i imagine maybe because of an underage audience, and they are not adults yet to start hating the fact? that's the only thing i can think of.
the way creators have extensive stats now on everything regarding their audience, they just know what they are gonna get away with, and which part they are writing for which audience.
i would rather writers just stayed away from the sketchy stuff honestly, because it does lower their stock with certain readers that we all aspire to be like eventually if we aren't there yet.

Oh so he’s a cheater, too, and not just a groomer. I trusted this author so much and I thought she’d never write any of this type of stuff, but here we are 😭

If the book is painting the cheater in a good light then that is not just a TW, it is a, I don't know, don't have the word in my head.

Cheat Encouragement book 🤣 i feel there should be a word for that too.
