Just finished The Lifecycle of Software. It ended up reminding me of the island of misfit toys. Not that they were misfits or toys, but it was more how quickly some of them could be laid aside in favor of the next generation. These are thinking, feeling, digitally living beings that can't continue to exist without software support. It's all very bittersweet.

Finished the first story. It was an interesting take on time travel and how events in life are unchangeable and destined but can become something more when experienced through other's perspectives.
