One more chapter and the chase begins. Yep, that's right, the thing everybody thinks this book is about is only the last 45 pages.

123 - The Musket, Starbuck's courage fails him, and all are doomed.

90 pages left.

Well, well, well! Stubb knows him best of all, and Stubb always says he's queer; says nothing but that one sufficient little word queer; he's queer, says Stubb; he's queer--queer, queer; and keeps dinning it into Mr. Starbuck all the time--queer, Sir--queer, queer, very queer.

I begin to suspect Ishmael may be exaggerating.

Chapter 99 - The Doubloon. Another very Shakespearean chapter. Beautiful to the ear, but I can't say I've got any idea what it was trying to convey.
Less than 200 pages to go. Planning to finish this reread before the end of the year.

91-92: Stubb is a con man. 93: Pip experiences racism, and other things.
Next up: Some, uh, "squeezing". aka the gayest thing since Ishmael and Queequeg's marriage.

Ishmael goes off on property rights. :)

Whale anatomy continues, next up some kind of story in a story I think. Not immediately recalling it from the chapter title.

Reading more Moby-Dick because everything else I am "reading" is just blah.
