Well, I've been going back and forth regarding not whether or not I'm enjoying this... At the moment I'm extremely annoyed-- the last 20 pages made no sense to me whatsoever as part of this novel. That aside, it is just hard for me, as I mentioned before, to separate this book from TKAM which makes it hard for me to give it a fair chance. The characters just aren't what I expected them to become in my imagination.

Holy smokes! What a scene-- if taken as a continuation of TKAM it sure casts a different light on Tom's trial! I think I need to read this book a few times to really get it and decide on a solid opinion...

What I LOVE are the flashbacks to Scout's middle and high school days-- those are perfect :)

Well, so far I like this somewhat-- it's a little hard for me to separate it and TKAM so it's frustrating when there are inconsistencies between the two, though.
