Michelle, the Bookshelf Stalker > Status Update

Please, please, please tell me Reece is NOT perfect. He is so utterly sweet, disgustingly perfect that I find him unbelievably boring. A foot massage after cooking a three course dinner (I think it was 3 courses) while entertaining Kara's son so she could sleep? Hopefully he takes his superman costume off before they scew!

It's clear the author has done her research but it is coming across like she is trying to hard on the entire whistblower/environmental/corporate greed/shady politician story. It's also predictible. I want more boy/girl less journalist/politician.

Ok..so not bad. Some silly stuff like Connor appearing with the big purple jiggly stick but other than that, I'm liking the story.

I've rarely read contemporary novels but I swear the beginning of this book (the bar scene) is so similar to another contemporary book I recently read. I think it was No Mercy but I can't remember. I thought I was reading the same book. Very weird. Other than that, I'm enjoying this so far. Reece sounds very delicious.
