okay so i'm really loving the trajectory of this book. only noting this down more for myself, but: i love ghosts, i love haunted houses. but oh boy, the body horror is truly . . . ughghghghg

hit the point in the book where like. i knew it was going to happen, but still. my heart hurts.

can i just say how much I adore this book. it’s been so long since i’ve read something properly spooky, and this fits the bill so many times over.
