Michelle, the Bookshelf Stalker > Status Update

I'm going to put this one on hold. It is not holding my interest enough to read it a 2nd time.

I remember so much of this book, I didn't realize I would. I read it when I was 11! It's not that exciting reading it when you know everything that is going to happen. I'm not a huge fan of re-reads but I truly thought I'd forgotten most of the book. Guess not.

Ayla and her questions remind me of my daughter at age 4 & 5. She could not stop asking questions. "Mommy, why does that lady have a hairy lip", "Mommy, why does that man have such a fat tummy", "Mommy, why does the old lady next door smell like bad shoes" and so on and so on and so on. I expected her to be a super genuis by now but nope, she was just damn nosey!

I would so suck at hunting.

Just starting...

I'm still recovering from An Echo in the Bone (Outlander, #7). I can't seem to start another audiobook until I've properly thought about Jamie (and Roger, and Ian, and Lord John) for at least another day or so.

I read this book when I was a kid & I always wanted to read it again from an adult viewpoint. I'm guessing I missed alot the first time around.
