Evie, you telling me that you love Jack and Aric equally and can’t choose?? I’m so tired of the back and forth. I don’t get it.

Also, Jack is definitely more mature and likable this book but it doesn’t excuse Evie’s indecision.

Seriously? How self-centered and selfish can Evie be? The progression of this series has not made her more likeable. Also, she is weak and and has been for this book and most of the last book yet there’s a moment in the book where she fears she may be TOO powerful? Seriously…

Evie is now talking about how she wants to be wanted and wondering why Jack hasn’t made a move on her. GIRL, it’s been a month. Where is her loyalty to Aric? 🫠

Okay Evie… weren’t you talking about how you were committed to Aric? You’ve been separated less than what a week? You are pregnant with his baby. You know he’s not himself. YET you go and kiss Jack?? I can’t keep up with this girl 🫠🙄

“He took my hand in his, and that easy compatibility flowed between us.” Since when has it ever been easy between Jack and Evie?? They hardly had any real conversation in their relationship and always argued and suddenly they are best friends?

Evie is even more unbearable. She is obsessing over Jack and being bratty to Aric. I am also feeling a bit disappointed that her powers didn’t get a chance to fully manifest before being dampened again.
