This is getting, even though I didn't think it was possible, more complex and twisted. I'm so worried about this group of characters that I have come to love. The Tower is such a devious place. Please let them all be okay!!

I didn't actually think the Sphinx would ever actually be revealed to us.
This is surprising. I'm still not sure of their true nature or intent, but hoping we get more answers before this wraps up.
Also, I am enjoying getting more time with Edith, Adam, Iren and Voleta with Senlin not around. I feel like I am getting to understand them more.
Is Adam some sort of chosen one, I'm wondering?

Can we all just forget Mayra ever existed and just have Tom and Edith together, please? Mayra, Marya, whatever her name is. Red sun helmet and all. I am over her.

Yesss, this is what I was waiting for.

And now Senlin wants to go bargain with him, because what could possibly go wrong!?

Flying through! This is so exciting.
I'll be honest, the Hods freak me out.
I can't believe what Voleta just saw them do...and buried him under the sod like it was nothing! WTF!?
Hoping they get away from the Silk Garden successfully. It's not looking good at the moment! Yikes!

This is reading a lot more quickly than the first.
I love our established crew of characters.
We're starting to see their true personalities shine through in their interactions!!

The imagery!
OMG, the imagery.
I am gagging.
Senlin descending into the web of yarn suspended in the sky off the side of the Tower to talk to this woman. I can picture everything. It's so vivid.

I know this is going to take me forever to read, because NEW RELEASES, and I read multiple books at a time, but I am so excited to be continuing on with this story! This is honestly just so unique. It's unpredictable and I'm becoming quite emotionally attached to this group of characters.

I knew after finishing Senlin Ascends that I needed to continue with this story right away. These characters have my whole heart right now!
