A dream is only another kind of reality.

Minions and servants could be drawn into the service of the dark side by the temptation of power. They could be given small tastes of what it offered, as an owner might share morsels from the table with his faithful curs.

True power can come only to those who embrace the transformation. There can be no compromise. Mercy, compassion, loyalty: all these things will prevent you from claiming what is rightfully yours. Those who follow the dark side must cast aside these conceits. Those who do not—those who try to walk the path of moderation—will fail, dragged down by their own weakness.

The dark side offers power for power’s sake. You must crave it. Covet it. You must seek power above all else, with no reservation or hesitation.

Equality is a myth to protect the weak.

Honor is a fool's prize.

Knowledge was power, and she alone controlled what knowledge he would gain.

In the end those who survive are the ones who look after themselves.

The dark side would bring him power. Glory. Strenght. Freedom.
