What the fuck is she talking about? When did all this happen? Am I being fucking gaslit by a book? Which book did all this stuff happen in? Am I losing my god damn mind???

That was incredibly anti-climactic. We didn't get to see any of the trap being laid. It was so sudden. There was no foreshadowing, no planning, no scheming. The author literally could have written a short story with the same impact rather than a 4 book series based on one scary villain that they just... what... outsmarted? Tricked? No, nothing. They didn't use wits, strength, or willpower. I'm honestly disappointed.

This is starting to feel like Madison Kate the sex doll again. This book doesn't need all of the sex at this point. It's already a long book. I'm not being a prude, the book has a decent plot and good romance arcs, the smut is just getting to be too much.

I like how Hades is working through her trauma. Though I have issues of how much of a boss she really is when her men seem to do most of the work and make most of the decisions.

So basically everything that made the cliffhanger in the previous book a cliffhanger was a lie. Not sure how I feel about that. Is it a fake cliffhanger?
