Tangent: Today, I learned about Anna Julia Cooper. Born into slavery in North Carolina in 1858, she earned B.A. and M.A. degrees at Oberlin and in 1925 at that age of 67 she received a Ph.D. at the Sorbonne in Paris.

It’s a little perverse to have Dana resuscitate Weylin.
