I definitely appreciate that there is more plot and less smut in this one, comparatively, to Madison Kate #3. This whole series so far has been a better balance. Also, I don't like really like that Hades is a badass boss bitch but submissive in the bedroom. I would love to see her dominate everything because that's her personality.

I love Lucas and his emotional maturity so much.

I am liking that this book is focusing less on smut comparatively than MK3, however there was a scene where Hades was woken up by a sex act. There was no recorded discussion beforehand of consent given when she is asleep and although the love interest that did it is dominant, it still doesn't sit well with me. You can't consent if you're asleep and Hades is not a sex toy. I don't care that she enjoyed it.

I feel like a different reaction from Zed would have been better. Didn't Hades lie to him? Also, how did she expect to keep it a secret from him?
