There’s a lot of good stuff in this book, though I feel a layperson may be turned off by the intensity of some of his example scenarios.

Also - being empathetic and assertive is HARD. The only thing that kept me from despairing is that he says, ‘if you can’t be empathetic, be honest’. That feels more manageable at my current state of humanness.
