Something I don't enjoy reading about is when a character is obstinate in remaining ignorant in the face of other characters who are trying to tell them the truth. The truth that the reader knows. I find it incredibly frustrating.
That's not to say this isn't well written, I can definitely see what the author is building up and how the MC's progression will go. It's just anti-fun to read.

So far I'm interested in the extent of the propaganda and getting down to the root cause analysis.
The main character is terribly unlikable (even other characters tell her to her face how much they never liked her) and has been drinking the Kool-Aid her whole life. So while she's a physical specimen, she's also naive af. I'm 100% here for the tiny, queer alien though.
