(142/195) she got into a fight, came out to her Mother (who basically said it’s a phase and she can’t be gay like that), then made a little scheme with Kelly to play Charlotte in the play. Also she came out to her brother (who I thought was homophobic because of my own brother), but he took it really well! It was so nice to read

(Page 50/195) Bro “George” and her Mother were eating dinner and she was struggling to come out as trans. It was so heart wrenching. She is half relatable as fuck, half “oh…oh my. Yeah, no. I am afab and nonbinary, this ain’t in my range of relatability.” The book is being pretty fina dm flowy tho. Also I think it’s made for middle schoolers. But that’s okay, because I like an easy, quick read too.
