See...this is exactly what I mean...Jay broke things off and his father is STILL harassing Em. Makes no fucking sense at all. At least Jay and Em could be together and have each other through all of this. What's the point in breaking up with her if his dad already knows where she now lives and is mailing her stuff? I think Jay breaking up with Em because it's for her "own good" is a bunch of bullshit. Wether they are together or apart his father knows he loves her, so he will try and hurt her anyway. It's just stupid. So friggin stupid. He should have talked things out with her, explained what was going on. I dislike books when people do things because THEY think they know best. Let the person decide what they want. Blahhhhhh.
