I think my book has major social breakdown, nobody likes each other. In the government, almost all the senators hate each other and the Elector, none of the Princep-ELects like each other. They are all at a party together, laughing, talking, and they all are just pretending. In the last book the old senators tried to kill the Elector. That is social breakdown in its finest.
