ufff... this is not how I imagined this. this fucking hurt :-(

Oh. Um... wow. What just happened? Feeling slightly overwhelmed from this display of passion.
Seems I'm not the only one, though :-D

What a beautiful scene between William and Adam. I think, so far, you can't even call this romance. It's so little, only hints here and there. A hint of flirting, a hint of a feeling, a hint of desire, but lovely nonetheless.

"This is all I know, Glasgow. All a man can do is what he thinks right. [...] I just... I wanted you to know. I didn't want to lie to you anymore.

I am enjoying this very much! Still such a dense world building. It's like you're right there with them. I love the atmosphere.
I also like the slow build-up, in both the case and the romance... Very slow.

One bloke in particular is unlike anyone I've come across in all my years of this work. I think you would like him, actually, if circumstances were different. I know I would. [...] I am quite anxious to see how things unfold.

And so am I :-)

I was very curious about this book.

Great start, very atmospheric, also intriguing and likeable characters.

Already a lot of smiles on my face.
