I sure don't have any idea what to expect at this point.
I am normally not great at noticing things like this, but it's fun to see the parallels to MST. The three spirits instead of the three swords. Simon chained and dreaming. The Dwarrows home. The Sithi riding to the Hayholt to stop the Norns. But unlike some stories (looking at you, Star Wars sequels), this doesn't just fell like a remake.

Dang, Simon "dead". Morgan and Nezeru getting it on. All the folks heading North at "her" call (and just who is "her"? I doubt it's the Norn Queen). Tiamak framed for murder. Miri lost in the woods.

Humorous foreshadowing I can finally mention from Witchwood Crown: Morgan wakes up in a whorehouse and is disappointed to find the woman he drunkenly picked last night wasn't pale and with white hair as he had sworn she was before. LOL.

I can tell these books will be fun on a reread. Though, I've never been good at picking up any but the most obvious things.
