Being in the cusp of change was a pretty big theme in the previous bk. Maizon goes through her own version. She finds her own ways. There's a lot of mutual love for Margaret. And a lot of depth to how she sees home. And how she goes about friendship and standing up for herself. This book ends at the same time as Margaret's story (bk 1).
