She felt old…. But she couldn’t be old and still be so wrong about so many things. It was a naive thing to call yourself old before you were.

They talk about their traumas as if it’s the most interesting thing about them
If their trauma is the most interesting thing about them, how do they get over any of it?
They don’t really

The most intimate relationships allow a great deal of privacy within them.

What is a game? It is tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow. It’s the possibility of infinite rebirth, infinite redemption. The idea that if you keep playing, you could win. No loss is permanent, because nothing is permanent ever.

Game over is a construction. The game is only over if you stop playing.

Memory is a game that healthy-brained people play all the time, and the game of memory is won or lost on one criterion: do you leave the formation of memories to happenstance? Or do you decide to remember?
So, where were you when this began?

1) all things were knowable by anyone, and
2) anything was fixable if you took the time to figure out what was broken
