I’ve had a little bit of a hard time getting into this one, but I’m reading now that LK has revised a few books including this one. I read the revised edition of It Happened One Autumn (and looking up the revisions made has clarified a lot, and I’m not sure those revisions were needed), but I have the original edition of this one. This one needs revisions more 😬
