The Last Stand of the New York Institute This story really humanized the Circle. It was dark and had lots of death, but I still smiled when I finished it. Maybe The Great Catsby had something to do with that, but it was still cute. My favorite part had to be when Magnus is arguing with Maryse and goes on about how her son must be as dreadful as she. If only he knew...

The Fall of Hotel Dumort
This one was one of the more clever plotted ones. I really liked the twist, not to mention the memory alteration. It brought back another character who never got enough spotlight.

Saving Raphael Santiago This was without a doubt adorable and one of the most insightful yet. It gave depth to one of the first characters we met in TMI and also gave more depth to this book's main man, Magnus Bane. Super deep.

The Rise of Hotel Dumort This one felt a bit short, but it's a short story and I enjoyed it none the less. I like how it explains things you never considered questioning the origin of in her series.

The Midnight Heir This is one of the bet so far. I loved getting a peek at what The Last Hours series is going to be about. I especially loved the depth it gave to Magnus and the perils of James Herondale. This was without a doubt the best so far.

Story 3: Vampires, Scones, and Edmund Herondale. This one was really really good. I loved all the last names that were so casually mentioned but most of all, I loved Edmund Herondale. That was freaking amazing. A+ Cassandra Clare, A+.

Story 2 The Runaway Queen This was perfect! I loved the Paris setting and the plot involving Marie Antoinette. Not to mention all the references to Infernal Devices. Also, Axel. French and cute. I ship it.
