When Percy and Annabeth get to Olympus, they meet up with Luke/Kronos who tries to kill Percy. Percy than convines Luke to kill himself to get rid of Kronos. Than Percy becomes the hero of Olympus and the phrophecy about him turned out to be true. Also Rachel becomes the new oracle. Two meaningful questions are why did Luke sacrafice himself for Olympus? Will Kronos rise again? If so would happen this time?

Percy, Annabeth, Thaila, and Grover hurry off of Olympus and onto the streets of New Yrok where they find that Kronos's army had already attacked. Panicked, the four go back up to Oylmpus and find that the connection between Olympus and Earth was disappearing. Something that should be changed in the book would be to have the battle between Kronos and Olympus start earlier because most of the book was boring.

Percy, Annabeth, and Grover are said to go up to Olympus to help with the wounded and protect the Gods. While they are there, they see Rachel who breaks up with Percy and confesses hat she has been using him to get close to Olympus. This book takes place in modern New York City,. It also takes place on a fictional hill called Half-Blood Hill which is the setting of most of the book.

Percy and all the campers at Camp-Half blood get an urgent message that Kronos's army is going to invade New York again and this time Typhon is coming too. Luckily Percy's friend Rachel comes. An important quote from the novel is when Rachel says to Percy, " Percy you are not the hero." This quote says that Percy could end up not saving Camp-Half Blood. This says that another perosn is the hero and is the prophesey.

Percy goes out of the Underworld and back to Camp Half-Blood to worm the campers about Kronos. The campers than go with him to downtown New York and Percy tells them to block off all the entrances to New York. I predict that Kronos's army will blast through New York and Percy and the gang will have to fight his army. I also tink that Nico will come out of the Underworld and help the campers fight.

Nico finds Percy and takes him to the Underworld to see his father Hades. Hades then locks Percy up in his cell and Nico breaks open the cell in agony. The most important character in this book so far is Percy Jackson. Percy is a major character because he is a very brave hero who cares deeply about his friends and fights many monsters. He is the son of Poseidon and is in a prophecy which is a big part in the series

When Percy gets back to Camp-Half Blood, Chiron decides to hold a meeting with all the heroes to discuss the plan for defeating Luke's army and tells Percy about the prophecy. I think the title The Last Olympian should be changed to The fate of Olympus because it talks about when Percy turns 16 he must decide the fate of olympus. This becomes a big part of the book because the choice could destroy all of Olympus.

Percy and Beckandorf sneak on Luke's ship. Sadly, Bekandorf dies and Percy heads back to Camp-Half Blood. A major conflict in the novel The Last Olympian is the whole Camp Half-Blood against Kronos's army. This conflict has been going on all through the book and it is because Kronos's army wants to kill all the gods and take over Olympus (where the gods live). The people at Camp Half-Blood want to protect the gods.
