so far every time i've sat down to read borges it's been a tug of war. at first a disdain for the struggle and effort (his biceps are huge), then for what i feel myself lacking. then, all of a sudden, this titan of imagination pulls just a little more (grinning) and i'm sliding through the fantastical labyrinth of his mind and i
can't tell if i'm being captured or saved. needless to say once pulled it's bliss.
