Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine is a book exploring the one of a kind character of Eleanor. For a good part of the story I was wondering if the story was headed anywhere in particular, only to realise that the idea is to explore the situations and things that can carve a person. So even though I had to push myself to keep going through a part of the book, it ended well for me with an attachment to the character.
