In my book the Characters name is Brock and he is hardworking, friendly and athletic. He is always respectful of adults and never gives up, even though his dad wont let him play travel baseball. This part shows he is determined "When it was Brock's turn, he couldn't help whispering to himself "Watch This". He got up to bat, let the first pitch go by and slammed the next one also over the fence."(132)
