amy's treasure hunt notes sound so sinister to a suspicious reader (and ok fine i watched like 20% of the movie to get an inkling) but so convincing to a clueless husband. a clueless asshole husband. then again, i don't know the whole story to actually confirm his assholeness as portrayed by his own narrative and amy's diary entries but it certainly seems to be that way so far.
