Interesting concept, the thesis is essentially that kids are relying on peers instead of the adults in their lives for emotional attachment and this is causing them to rely on those not fully developed for emotional and societal cues. Some of the assertions feel.bold and politically incorrect, others (like that capitalist societies lose connections) feel more progressive. I like books that can piss off both d and rs.
