The second section is an interesting addition to the first, but it's not yet clear what this is all leading to.

Still in the first section and finding the characters interesting. No idea what to expect next.

I know just enough about this book to be aware that there's going to be more to it than what's currently happening, which is that a guy in the early 1900s (I think) is getting really into playing the stock market.
