There's obviously something very wrong with me. 🤷‍♂️ I started this one based on the glowing reviews from a number of people whose opinions I respect. But at the 57% mark, I'm finding the whole thing ridiculous. They've worked together a month and literally had their first conversation 3 days before Christmas and now Zac is spending the 3 day Christmas break with Rudy's family. The family just played games on Christmas Eve (there's a brilliantly original idea! 🙄) literally for pages and pages. I'm finding this absurd ... I'll just be very quickly skimming the rest of the story later.🤷‍♂️

Everything you don’t like is basically what I don’t like about the entire “fake boyfriend” trope…. maybe I was to generous with my review 😂 I’ve read so many books since I read this one I can’t remember details 😳

I've just found it all so ridiculous. I mean he takes this guy home for family Christmas ... that he literally just had his first conversation with 2 days before. The family, especially Mum, assume they're boyfriends and all but engaged and keep making those comments and Rudy can't simply say "No. We just became friends 2 days ago and we're not boyfriends." Absurd! 🙄 The author obviously threw this together the night before his deadline. 🤦‍♂️

As I said, there's obviously something wrong with me. I see tons of glowing reviews ... not just yours. I just don't get it. 🤷‍♂️
