This book is confusing me. I don't really know how to explain it. Zoey and her new friends are all cool with each other, and its great that they make her feel at home and everything but why didnt they wake her and tel her about the ritual. Why were they acting so weird about the ritual?

When He Marked Her Head I Was So Confused! Her Friend doesn't realize anything ! I find it disrespectful how she kept backing up like Zoey had a contagious disease! i can't wait to read more.
