A internal conflict in Brisingr is that Eragons struggle with who his father is. Throughout most of the book Eragon thinks that one of the villeins of the book is his father but later
finds out it was his mentor Brom from the first book.An
other internal conflict is that Eragon knows that his father was evil but that makes him question that if he himself is evil as well.
