Ok, the rules I stated about paranormal romance especially the part about "misunderstandings", they apply to historical romance novels as well. WTF! Why couldn't Loretta just ASK Hunter whether the story his cousin told was true. Why believe his cousin over Hunter? Stupid. Stupid.

This is SUCH a frustrating book, I would have probably stopped reading it if I wasn't slow close to the end. It has so many big "misunderstandings" & they drive me crazy. I get it. He's a Comanche, she's a white woman- lots of misunderstanding. But so much could be cleared up with TALKING. He's speaks English, she knows some Comanche. GRRRR. Plus, lack of action.

Ok, I admit when I'm wrong. The 1st half of the book annoyed me, even made me mad due to Hunter's behavior. However, I am of changed mind now. I can see the author's direction, and I do see the point. Both Loretta and Hunter were not only ignorant of each other but of each other's ways. Once Hunter & Loretta understood, they each became a better person.

It's about damn time Hunter you figured shit out. Stop thinking with your knife and your penis and you'll do much better.

So Hunter is happy when Loretta's nipples respond to his tweaking. She is tied up, delirious with fever, and seriously sunburnt over her body. It is called an involuntary response to a stimuli. Women get it when the wind blows, when fabric scapes our body a certain way. Don't be so damn cocky Hunter- it's not romantic, its assault.

Not only can I hear every breath the narrator takes, but also every swallow, sigh.... shoot, I'm suprised if I don't hear her fart next!
I WILL tolerate this narrator!

I forgot that I had this on audiobook so I figured I might as well listen to it since I already have it. The narrator might be Darth Vader's daughter. Every word sounds like she is grasping for breath. It might take a bit to get used to. Why can't Davina Porter narrate all audiobooks in existance?
